Hopefully Arum comes to his senses and makes the Marquez fight, Whether its at 135, 140 or even 147 they are all viable weights considering on fight night there will only actually be a few pounds between them. However in the interest of Pac he should try and get down do 135, and then at least he can have claim to the lineal & Ring Belts.

After that fight Berto, this is presuming that Floyd is still on "vacation". This should then be for the Ring belt as well.

After that, if he comes through those, fight Martinez for the MW belt or the top guy at the at 154.

He said he wants three more fights, and for what available those are the best possible fights for him, to his planned retirement, IMO.

Oh and there is no way Pac should be fighting Mosley.

I honestly think if they putPac again Berto, it would still have just as good numbers as Mosely, or even better. Berto can beadvertised an undefeated speed and power. Im sure the fact that he is undefeated will interest many more people that you think. Maybe Im wrong, but I think Pac vs a dude whos nver lost would sell big to the casual fans.

Your 100% right - basically what Arum is seally thinking is the fight that will make the most money where Pac has the least chance to lose. I am a huge Pacman fan, and do think he's taken on good competition the past few years with KOs of Cotto and Hatton and wins against Clottey and Margarito, but fighting Mosely is the same type of fight that people have been killing Mayweather for - fighting easier fights - and I'll be dissapointed if thats the fight. Especially when Berto or Marquez III would be able to be made (unlike Mayweather which is the real fight that needs to be made).

Steward has never promoted a fight in his life. Marquez and Berto arent PPV fighters. Even though Mosley is washed up he is still a PPV fighter. Its all about getting money at this point in Pacs career.

man,i think marquez has more fans than mosley,all his mexican fans will buy the fight,especially against pacquiao...if pac is good at selling,then it will sell,just like it sold with mayweather,and it's a more competitive fight although because of the weight i see pacquiao winning,mosley is known,but he doesn't really sell,look at the mayorga fight,and then looke at the margarito fight,all mexican fans,they buy fights,only way they can sell mosley-pac is to put together a bunch of mexicans on undercard,and even so they probably will be mismatches,right now the best fight for pac is against marquez,i would even prefer berto over old man mosley

Agreed. If Pac fights Marquez, 140 should be the weight. Im sure pac will not struggle to make it, especially if they are always carbing him up to make welterwight limit and fail. Pac is the man but cmon now. Time for some fresh meat or a trilogy, not a used up Mosley.
