Great post. I agree with everything except the Johnson-power thing.

I think china jaw jones would disagree with you as well.

He has plenty of power in that right hand, its a misconception that his stoppages are as a result of wearing ppl down with pressure. His pressure helps give him more opportunities to set up single hard right hands which are responsible for most of his KDs and stoppages.

He's such a nice person and everything but I don't find him a bit entertaining and I tend to like defensive boxers. He holds way too much and leads with his head, I think he has great hand speed and his style works fine for him but it's boring.

i think he's the next floyd mayweather but at a higher boring weight class. but not mayweather in terms of personality but in the ring.

He has to pressure though rather than try and just land hard power shots without because he is not very fast so with a low punch output and him picking his shots his chances of landing very much would be greatly reduced. It seems like he just throws bother some punches like his jab that isn't very hard in order to distract his opponent from the right hand power shots so they don't seem them coming.

The change in attendance is deceiving because it wasn't advertised much at all because it was set about a month before it took place, wasn't part of the tournament, against a big underdog with no pull, during thanksgiving, during a big boxing night, while raining. To put it in better perspective, the JMM/Berto/Caballero card drew almost the same, and maybe less minus the comps.

Ward fights to win, nothing else. With Green he did what he needed to do to win every round. With Bika he was just fighting a rough strong fighter and did what he needed to do to insure a win.

In the fight against Kessler he looked much much better. (Watch the first six rounds again and you will see his dominance has nothing to do with holding or headbutts)

I think he is unusual in that he will look better against better fighters. He will shut out AA just like Froch did and then will be able to take either Froch or Johnson. I think he will stay unbeaten fighting the best for quite awhile.
