He's shot as everyone said after Mayweather broke him, after Pac said he was "too good" and after Bob said he doesn't deal with Golden Boy (yet somehow people still blame Mayweather for not fighting Pac when we know Arum wont deal with Floyd/Golden Boy. Let alone Pac not officially agreeing to random and unlimited OST with a publically SIGNED contract)

Who Pac should be fighting next:
Mayweather at 147 for the WW title
Martinez at 154 for the JMW title and/or MW title if it was at 155
Berto at 147 to unify the WW titles

Then JMM AT 140 NOT 147, Kirkland (after a tune up) at 147, and after all else fails put Mosley in there at 147.

It's like I've been saying, Team Pac is exposed. After all these names, Pac will STILL look to fighting the old man in Mosley or JMM at 147 (even though Pac WOULDN'T fight for the WW title AT 147! If he does agree to JMM at 147, Pac is offically a contradicting hypocrite and a "coward".

No wonder the pacterd fan boys are crying and cant stop talking about Mayweather (who beat the #1 WW) being on vacation as if that will make everything all better for them....

Pac's been exposed, Top Rank better choose wisely.

Manny won't stand up and reject the fight. He will keep fighting these guys that have no business in the ring with him. When Shane begged for this fight, he was "too good". Now that Shane has been dominated by Mayweather and had an ugly draw with Mora, he is ripe for the picking.



This will be 3 straight tune ups for Manny and delusional fans will watch him whoop Mosley and call him the best to ever lace them up. I'll pass...again.

I agree. My preference is to see the trilogy with Marquez at 140lbs, but a fight with Mosley at 147lbs is a legitimate alternative.

Berto really is the only real no draw from the top welter weights. Too bad because he is solid, but he needs to make a name for himself. Missing out on the Mosley fight in January has really set him back.

I agree, good post. Mosley and Marquez seem to be the only legitimate options. There is little-to-no chance that Manny would fight any real JMW, let alone Sergio Martinez.

Well, Berto has called for Cotto/Mosley/Manny/Floyd, let's see what happens from here. Cotto or Mosley are Berto's best options. I am very surprised that Arum has not even mentioned Cotto/Pac II

Well, with how Pac and Floyd are holding up negotiations, their fight is pretty much a fantasy fight as well. I just believe that Sergio is the most credible opponent for Pac, or Floyd for that matter, to fight next. I'm sick of the "he's too big argument" when Pac is a JMW champ. Margarito was just the right size and Sergio isn't? Doesn't make much sense.

Margarito = washed-up, slow, plodding, one-dimensional, no KO power

Martinez = a world class fighter

It is all Gayweather fault, Arum tried very hard to make the fight happen... for 2 weeks.

I just can't wait to see Mosley transform from a "weak old man" to a true warrior who beat a prime Margarito & was robbed against Mayweather.

Regardless I think Marquez deserves the rematch, but i think they're waiting for time to catch up with him, which it very nearly has.
