For those who are saying it was a lucky punch, not true....I thought the same at 1st but recorded the fight and after watching it a few times, Martinez was hitting Paul quite frequently with it but just getting the distance. Actually hit P-Will with that same punch 3 times in round 2 b4 the KO...P-Will fights low and drops his hands when throwing, specially uppercuts...P-Will was fighting good but he does makes a lot of mistakes and Martinez had the power to made him paid...and he did!!! WOW...what a punch!!!

Mmmhmmm, i watched the fight on a pretty piss poor stream but i noticed he grazed him with that looping left a couple of times in the first round and i was thinking 'woah, if that landed clean it would of knocked him down for sure'.

Still i didnt expect and overwhelming one shot knockout like that, i either didnt give Martinez' power enough credit or gave Paul Williams chin a little too much credit.

Now Martinez is a little more than a slick and skilled southpaw, he is a vicious power-punching knockout artist. I would like to see how he would match up with some of the super middles, since he seems like he is in a different class to the big name junior middles and middles such as Cotto, Chavez jr etc. I rekon this kid could take out Lucian Bute and then await the winner of the super six/wait for a star to arise in the two divisions below. Mayweather and Pacquiao dont want nothing to do with this ****.

I expected Sergio to win but in that crushing fashion. He should have won the first fight but Williams came out strong in the latter rounds.

You heard it from Sergio's mouth. He said he felt good at 156 and he'll listen to offers. I'm a Floyd fan but you can rest asure that neither Floyd nor Manny wants nothing from the Argentinian Assassin.

Martinez hinted during the interview after the KO that he's willing to fight Pac at 156. However, Pac team already said they're not fighting above 147 already. So, your argument that Pac would duck him doesn't hold water.

I agree with you, Floyd should fight Sergio. If Floyd also ducks sergio, what would you say then? If it quacks, it must be a duck???

Martinez is a great fighter that should get the respect he deserves. He should be top 3 on everyones p4p list for sure. Williams on the other end was full of potential but really overrated by his fans. He is such a big guy but he always fights like a midget and his defense sucks. Dude needs a new trainer asp if he wants to make some noise in this next stage of his career.

If Martinez says he will come down to 155 to challenge Floyd or Manny and they don't accept, Martinez would be P4P #1 in my book.
