Ariza sounds harsh but he is right; Shane will only put up a good fight for about three rounds. I'd rather see Marquez in there with Pac, plus its a easy fight to sell. But in the end neither Mosley or Marquez can beat Pacquaio. Really there isn't any worthy opponents out there at the moment but Floyd.

Ariza should seriously shut the ****kkkk up. His job is to have Manny is top physical shape. Nothing more, nothing less. Roach and Ariza should be a bit more humble like Manny. He does make a point but he doesn't have to be an aaasssss hole about it.

          if not floyd...andre berto

the only fight left for manny is mayweather, the 2 best have to fight to see who the real champ is.. if not floyd the only fight i see realy worth watching would be with berto. berto would give pack a run for his money and has the speed and power to make it a competitive match.

Mosley would literally be destroyed against Pacquiao. He throws even wider than Margarito and is old with no footspeed or stamina left.

Pac already beat the crap outta Marquez twice even though he only got credit for beating him once. 4 knockdowns vs 0 knockdowns tells you what would happen right there.

Pacquiaos only legit options are Bradley, Alexander, Khan, Maidana (if he beats Khan) and Berto. Pac really cleaned out the welterweight division. He has to fight natural 140 and 154 pounders at 147 now.
Pac wouldn't fight P-Will or S-Mart not just because they can't make 147 it's because at 154 Pac would have too much trouble against them. You see that he made Margo go down to 150 and Margo had to take Hydroxy Cut all the way up to fight time to make that weight.

That's what Pac and his people do. They take you out of your normal routine. But fighters agree to it because of the payday. But if Pac had no fame they would tell him to go pound sand.

Mosley did not quit against Floyd. Mosley just showed his age and had trouble solving Floyd's defense.

In fact, look at how Mosley started looking in round 3, then think back to how Zab reacted to Floyd after the third round. Both became hesitant shaking jitterbugs because they could not fake Floyd out. Simply put, they started thinking too much. Both of them should have just kept throwing and opportunities would have come. Would they have won? probably not, but they would have at least performed better.

You know what? You just can't please some people.

If Pac fights JMM, it's too late, JMM is no good above 135, and Pac is avoiding Shane. If he fights Shane it's because he's old, he gasses out and was outclassed by FMJ and he wants no part of JMM. If he fights Berto, he's too inexperienced. If he fights Bradley, he has no power and is not a threat. Some people say they will only be happy if he fights P.Will or Martinez (assuming no fight w/FMJ) at 154 with NO catchweight. Two men who (if he fought at the weight that would only make these people happy), are natural middle weights and could easily walk in to the ring at 170-175 on fight night. Hell, if Bob Arum announced that Pac was fighting one of the Klitchko's next, they would still say Pac has an advantage because they are come forward, don't move around a lot fighters, and he's fighting them to avoid JMM or SSM.

Yes, Shane has incredible power. But anyone being honest with themselves and (no pun intended) saw Shanes last few fights, knows that #1) Margarito fights nothing like Pac and is a come straight forward face first brawler with little to no head or foot movement, #2) Shane gassed out after just 2 rounds and just a couple of big shots thrown in the 2nd, and was outclassed the rest of the night by FMJ who used more skill then foot movement in their fight - and #3) Shane got tired and frustrated from Mora's movement in the ring, how long do you think his stamina would last against the always moving Pac while getting hit with 5/6 combination punches along the way. Mora spent more time avoiding punches then throwing punches. I love SSM but I don't want to see a clinch fest fight either.

Personally, I would like to see Pac fight JMM. JMM HIMSELF said he wants to move up in weight (he wants another title at another weight) and according to the Pac deflectors, Pac still has something to prove against JMM (which is the reason Ariza and Roach want this fight). Let them fight at the same contracted weight that was set in FMJ/JMM. Let JMM get his own descent conditioning coach and prove HIS greatness of coming up in weight (for another title) by conditioning rather than over eating. Besides that, no one is forcing him to put ALL the weight on - he can come in at what he feels is comfortable for him. After all, it's not like Pac is going to outweight JMM by something outlandish like.... 17 pounds!

The thing is, some people just want to hate just for the sake of hating. I hope a fight between Pac and Floyd happens this next year but I have my doubts that it will ever happen TBH. So, if Pac decides to fight on he has to fight somebody. Whoever Pac fights I know I'll be watching because he is entertaining and has amazing talent. But, like I said, you just can't please some people - EVER!

I personally do not care for JMM or Mosley as opponents at this stage.

Manny is near the end of his career and if he cannot get a fight with Floyd, then at least give a young gun a chance to make a name for themselves. JMM and Mosley had their big fights.

Why not give Berto or Bradley a shot? Both are established names and both have youthful legs and some fight in them.
