The only guy that I give a decent chance to beat Pacquiao is Martínez or Williams depending on how they look. Then there's Mayweather of course.

Berto will gas, Alexander looked sloppy against Kotelnik, Bradley (one of my favorite fighters), might be in it a while but his lack of power one of these days might be his downfall.

totally agree , plus berto sux against southpaws .remember the collazo fight? was a robberry. bradley is too overrated for what hes accomplished,although he is talented.alexander was very impressive against Urango but not very good against kotelnik. martinez,wiliams, angulo if he goes to 154 or mayweather . pac man is in his prime and he keeps fighting guys that are on the way out its not fair to anyone. people dont pay to seee that shiat we want competetive fights.

Seems like Team Pacquio is taking about fighting everyone except Mayweather. Oh I forgot, Smokescreen Bob has a "master plan" about how to get Mayweather-Pacquaio done. But, in case "Money doesn't want the fight", he has a backup plan. From past actions and reading betweenthe lines from the statements being released by Pac's camp, the master plan seems to be to ultimately fight Mosley or JMM after going into PR overdrive about how Money is ducking Pac. My guess is they'll soon announce the date of Pac's next fight, start some "negotiations" with Money, agree to some terms that they know won't be accepted, give Money a deadline to accept that he'll let pass, then have a midnight press conference talking about what a coward Money is and that they'll be fighting Mosley. Of course, Mosley looked like crap against Mora. The only way JMM could move ahead of Mosley to become Pac's next opponent is lose to Katsidis next weekend. You know Team Pacquaio loves fighting guys coming off loses.

I got much respect Manny Pacquiao but Roach/Ariza/Koncz are acting like *****es....The world knows you(Ariza) have the p4p best fighter but the world also knows that you're not him. Ariza, Get in the ring and you'll be begging Shane to quit. Show some respect unless you're the man doing the fighting.

a fight with either mosley or marquez is pointless. he should go after berto, because he has the green belt. or he could fight paul williams at welterweight, since he's been saying that he can make the weight, let him do it! if he were to beat those 2 guys, he could retire without anyone questioning the mayweather fight..imo.

I like the sound of that....Berto vs Pac is an interesting fight that's legit. But it'll never happen unless it's at 140 to 144. Same with Paul Williams.

Here's the science of good promotion.

You have an upcoming fight that is arguably the most intriguing fight of the year in Sergio Martinez against Paul Williams. Yet, it is a free fight on HBO coming this Saturday.

We just had a fight with Manny Pacquiao against a fighter who was coming off a suspension for cheating, who looked average against a no name fighter in his last fight in Mexico and got thrashed by Shane Mosely prior to that. And we had to fork out $50+ for that.

Now if you really follow boxing you know that the Pac/Margo fight was going to be an exhibition. Many of us gave Margo a puncher's chance but many of us new that Margo was a punching bag with size. But Arum is a genius. No one ever called him ******. He knows that it's not the competition that sells. It's Mexico vs. Philippines. It's Manny going for his eighth world title.

But what we don't talk about is that Margo wasn't the best opponent out there and he wasn't even holding that title Manny was going for. It's all a fascade.

It's called entertainment sprinkled with a good story about a humble asian man with pretty dam good fighting skills. A well orchestrated, well planned career for Manny. I don't knock him for that. You go ahead and make your paper boo-boo. I wish I could do the same.

I just feel bad for the Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez' of the world who really deserve the good $$$$.

Both Martinez and Pwill are natural middleweights. No way they can cut down to 147 which is where Pac is gonna fight next.

Mayweather is a coward and has serious legal issues.

Mosley would literally be destroyed against Pacquiao. He throws even wider than Margarito and is old with no footspeed or stamina left.

Pac already beat the crap outta Marquez twice even though he only got credit for beating him once. 4 knockdowns vs 0 knockdowns tells you what would happen right there.

Pacquiaos only legit options are Bradley, Alexander, Khan, Maidana (if he beats Khan) and Berto. Pac really cleaned out the welterweight division. He has to fight natural 140 and 154 pounders at 147 now.
