I think even though HBO is putting the hammer down on Berto, people should really get the idea of a Cotto-Berto fight out of their heads because it's not gonna happen. Berto is not a draw and a win over him does nothing for Cotto. Berto needs to man up and give Mike Jones his shot and Arum should push for that fight instead if he's smart since he promotes Jones.

they better not even think about putting him in with joshua "heavy bag" clottey. Cotto has been thrown around a lot. would this fight be at 147 or 154?

Al Haymon, the evil magician claiming that Berto is gonna fight a star and it never comes to fruition. Time's up Berto, step your game up dude!!

                  From ESPN article:

                  Andre Berto

One area where Greenburg has received massive criticism is regarding welterweight titlist Andre Berto, who has been given soft touch after soft touch on HBO for big money.

"The bottom line is Andre Berto will be in a big fight in early 2011, or he won't be on HBO," Greenburg said. "Whenever he fights next, if it's not against a big-name opponent, then you won't see him. He knows that, his management [Al Haymon] knows that. And his promoter [Lou DiBella] knows that. Believe it or not, they feel the same way. We've been very patient. Now it's time. If it doesn't happen, so be it."

                  Link:
Greenberg forgot to say that Berto will only get his market value

That's what I'm talking about Ross

HBO needs to realize they have the keys to the car and they need to start taking a harder line with these prima donnas who want big rewards for soft challenges. They did Haymon a favor with this upcoming bull**** fight, and now it's time for Berto to repay it.

Either fight a Mosley, Cotto, etc or GTFO. That's the way it should be.
