They tested his urine sample and found that he had elevated testosterone levels. I'm simply saying anyone can get a positive test result by taking andro, which again at the time was legally sold as a supplement. He broke commission rules but not the law. Mosley broke both.
Either way get this thread back on topic. Hoodweather isn't going to fight anyone not named Anne Wolf and even then I think he'd find an out clause.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 11-02-2010, 11:35 AM.

I want to add that the article also mentioned that Mayweather turned the fight down WITHOUT REASON. If the 7 days cut-off period was the reason, anybody from the Mayweather camp could have mentioned it. This is as clear as a cloudless sky. Mayweather fans are clinging to Koncs word because they are running out of ammo. Koncs was not on the negotiating table. Ross Greenburg was.

Yeah, but we're talking boxing here, not the constitution. It's not like you get a 25 to life sentence for a positive test or something. But umm...ok.
Fine if you want to get technical he tested positive for a supplement (legal). Mosley tested positive for a steroid(illegal). I'm simply making that clarification and saying it can happen to anyone. I'm not even sure if boxing has a list of supplements you can take or not take, much like the NFL does. I'm not going to condemn someone for taking a supplement.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 11-02-2010, 11:37 AM.

Floyd was dead silent. He was just simply "not thinking of boxing". Remember when he started hanging out with Don King? That was when Golden Boy was pressuring him to take the damn fight so they can make millions. But nope, Floyd just simply ran away and hang out with Don King.
That's when they deny that there were no negotiations taking place. They didn't want to tell the world that Floyd's a *****.

What if I take a protein powder, something you can pick up at Walmart, then a few weeks later test positive for a banned substance. They then test the powder and find out it was either intentionally ****ed or contaminated with androstendione? Would you blanket label me a steroid cheat? The reason I use that as an example, is because it happened during the winter olympics, when a skier tested positive after using the protein powder called Nitro-Tech. Point is **** happens, not everyone is out to cheat.

Fine he broke the rules, but those rules are/were extremely vague at the time. A lot of things can trigger a positive result...not all of them "illegal".
