Oh yeah, and he was also pushing 40 and has not fought since the lose to Williams. However, if Paul "The Way Overrated" Williams beats Martinez soundly I will stand partly corrected. But up until this point, other then him having a lot of heart, he is way way overrated in just about every aspect.
He is overrated , Paul should have 3 losses on his resume 1.martinez 2.Cintron

He got his a55hole taxed by martinez , and got away with robbery

And Cintron was on his way to possibly Ko'ing Him

In reality all his big wins have some kind of controversy. To include his win over Margacheato, a fight that many boxing writers thought that Paul in fact lost. His lose to Martinez, excuse me I really meant to say win. Also the Cintron win. And if you listen to his fans you would think he has been a dominating world champ. When in reality he is exactly 2-1 in world title fights and lost to a club fighter in one of them. Also, the fact that the only two world classes fighter that he clearly beat were both pushing 40 and way past their prime. And actually neither of them have fought since. I may be wrong but it hardly sounds like a resume that has the stuff that legends are made of. What do you think?

Martinez is still the guy to root for in this fight. Other than him calling out Chavez Jr. I gotta say this guy is doing all the right things like beating guys at their best weight. Williams just wants a shot at the big time without paying any dues along with asking for a catch weight.
