I dunno why goosen and team williams keep talking about fighting at 147 lbs. he hasn't fought at that weight forever. maybe if he fought 2-3 fights at WW I'd believe that he is actually a WW.

There are two fighters in the sport that do 1M buys and it's not even guaranteed. But you expect Paul to against bums in order to fight the best? Fans like you kill the sport.

Also - PRBOXINGCOTTO whatever. You called Williams a pus-sy and a bum.

        1. He would slap the taste out of your mouth e-gangster

        2. Cotto walks around heavier than Paul

        3. Paul would mop the floor with Cotto. Cotto runs scared of him.

        4. He would never take a knee and quit. TWICE.

        5. Paul handled Winky Wright with ease. Trinidad couldn't win one round against him. Hahaha.

When he was at 147 non of the top guys wanted to fight him, so why would he need 2 or 3 fights? Basically what needs to happen is these guys that claim they are the best in their sport or weight class needs to step up to the plate! Paul has been saying he can make 147 for a while now! He weighed in at 153 and half for the Cintron fight and he just said in the interview he has to eat more just to stay at fight weight for Nov.20th!

to prove that he is an actual WW. you know he hasn't fought at WW for several fights now right? Well, usually when you are a WW you campaign at WW.

yeah, I understand the "none of the top guys wanna fight him" argument, but that's why he had to keep fighting at WW until he got in contention for one of the belts, the same way he got his fight against margarito.

Basically what needs to happen is these guys that claim they are the best in their sport or weight class needs to step up to the plate!
wait... what? pwill has flat out said he don't wanna fight anyone so they can make a name of him... ok, so why is he complaining about these guys not wanting to fight him so he can make a name off them? that's the height of hypocrisy. what pwill needs to do is the same thing he did to get margarito to fight him: he needs to keep fighting at WW and get in contention for the belts so these fighters can stop ducking him.

Paul has been saying he can make 147 for a while now!
saying is one thing, campaigning is another.

                that's great... he's a jr middlweight... not a WW.

and he just said in the interview he has to eat more just to stay at fight weight for Nov.20th!
then why not just fight at 154 lbs for some jr MW interim or championship belt??? I'm sure there is some sanctioning org, that would be willing to do that.

You Williams fans are rather delusional. Because just in case you did not notice, Wright fought Trinidad almost four years before the Williams fight. And Winky had only fought once in almost three years before the Williams fight and that happened to be a lose to Hopkins. Oh yeah, and he was also pushing 40 and has not fought since the lose to Williams. However, if Paul "The Way Overrated" Williams beats Martinez soundly I will stand partly corrected. But up until this point, other then him having a lot of heart, he is way way overrated in just about every aspect.
