Roy Jones (vs John Ruiz version) vs David Haye, who wins?

Today Haye kills Jones in the first 20 seconds, but I see the still primeish Jones clowining and beating Haye down to a wide UD win.

    Roy from 2003 dominates Haye
not out of the question for Roy to drop him either
Haye's faster than Ruiz so Roy would have to work more
that wouldn't be good for Haye either

I could see it going either way. It isnt like Ruiz landed zero punches on Roy, and although I know they have totally different styles, if Haye lands something on Roy it puts him in a coma. Would have loved to see Roy clown Haye and stop him though. God damn that would have been fun to watch.

Haye KO's Jones, Haye is as fast as Jones was at Heavyweight and has a lot more power.

A shot John Ruiz knocked down Haye(Haye was knocked down and the ropes saved him). Why can't a shot Roy Jones Jr. do the same thing or even better knock this cherry-picking clown out?

Jones is a glass chinned hbo hypejob. There's a reason he picked Ruiz as his cherrypick of a hw title.

Haye can actually throw punches and he would knock Roy out worse than Glen Johnson did.

Because Jones didn't carry his power up with him and had no defence. His defence was his speed but he was nowhere near as fast at HW and Haye would land on him.

I get you now, even though Ruiz sucks in the skill departments he is still a big heavyweight and thats why he dropped Haye on to the ropes with a nice shot. While Roy Jones Jr is a midget and doesn't have the pop at heavyweight to hurt Haye like a shot John Ruiz did. *being serious, I do get what you're saying. One's a natural heavyweight and the other is not.

As much of a ducking fraud that Haye is, Ruiz was able to land on Roy and the 1st serious punches that Haye hit him with would have had great effect maybe knocked him out cold.

if I could give you more green I would, the ropes did save Haye and it was an ugly jab that Ruiz hit him with.
