Duran has faced legends and so has pac @ different eras, different weight classes. It is hard to compare the myth of legends past with current hof fighters.. Past fighters have that aura. I can't say Manny has faced better comp just because, like you, to me, the mystique of past legends are unsurpassable. Maybe a kid watching boxing now can answer that in 10-15 years, when manny is to him what hagler, spinks, leaonard was to me.

u couldn't have said it any better its not like PAC faced SRL,hagler,herns those fighters r forever legends of boxing but it is true those fighters due have a aura about them cuz they fought in era where boxing was gold not that boxing is now bad or anything but back then their was a lot of competition..but yes PAC has fought future HOF himself cant deny that and won most of em got to give where respect is due cant hate on accomplishments cuz thats history...
