Dana is the man, he always calls it like it is and since he was a former amateur boxer and a huge fan of the sport for over 30 years, he has more say so than most of you cowards.

He got into MMA because he was going to go into boxing promotion and got turned off by the corrupt aspect in boxing.

The truth is that we respect boxing very much!! There are many MMA guys that have very good boxing. It looks sloppy to you all, but that's because of the different style of boxing required for it to work.

Different stances to avoid kicks and takedowns. Totally different environment, you cant rope a dope against the cage. Clinching is also way different. Overall, boxing requires a totally different approach when it is used in MMA.

I wish James Toney would have taken that approach, but he didn't. He tried to go out there in a traditional stance and mindset and box like he would in the ring....
