    Maidana is a complete joke

i can't believe all the hate on this forum that has been directed at khan over the last few months

khan 's ducking khan's a coward he has a weak chin paper champion blah blah blah

here we have a man who for some unknown reason thinks he is entitled to make **** loads of money and his last opponents were cayo and corley

who the **** does this jumped up twat think he is

i hope khan gives him a boxing lesson and beats him up for 12 rounds make him quit on his stool

seriously i've had it up to here with these boxers that think they can make ridiculous money when they ain't done **** with their career and then have the cheek to say that their opponent doesn't want to fight and they are offering them the biggest payday of their career

i think maidana knows he has no chance aside from landing a lucky punch and is trying to get paid for the ass whooping he's about to receive just get in the ring and fight you ****ing *****

I just worry that this will all backfire, and Khan vs Maidana won't be made. I'm not crazy, I don't want to see Khan fight another made to suit fighter, because I believe he will KO Maidana early. But there is no need for Maidana to publicly declare Khan is ducking him, when it appears to be the other way around.
Agreed, hope it gets made, i think Khan TKOs him but not that early.

Khans made himself look bad in the past with his matchmaking so Maidana is making the most of it knowing he has a reputation for it. Maidana wants a pyday against Khan, I believe he wants to fight him, he's just using whatever method he can do screw every penny out of him, and with Bradley and Alexander holding the other 3 belts Khan doesnt have an easy way to a different world title so wont vacate. (although Bradley and Alexander are bound to be stripped of at least one belt if they fight each other - if one of them hasnt already?)

I'm not trying to be confrontational, but do we know that Maidana is asking for crazy money? The two fighters obviously disagree on it, but do we know any details of the money being offered? Do we know if either of them is presenting the situation accurately? I am not a Maidana fan - I have missed all his fights, so don't know him - but I'm not sure we should assume that he is making demands and that that is the problem. You criticize Maidana's recent opposition, but Khan has certainly not fought as often as he should have done, and not against the quality of opposition he should have - Paulie was shot at LWW when Khan fought him - so it might be rash to assume that all the problems with getting this fight made come from the Maidana side of the negotiation. I'm just saying that we do not have all the facts and I don't think that all the problems are on one side of the negotiating table.

Paulie wasn't shot at all. He was coming off one, maybe two victories over Juan Diaz...a guy who many people wouldn't have gave Khan a chance at beating 18 months ago. Paulie can still come back and maybe give the likes of Kotelnik, Alexander, and Judah tough fights. Saying he was shot is ridiculous.

Not that he was shot just that he can not punch...Paulie stands no chance against Devon or Judah or IMO Kottie either..Those picking him to win against Khan after the beating he took from Hatton(cause of no power)were either fans or just ******...Paulie's role as a gate keeper has been sold for bout two yrs now....

Alexander has never faced a slick boxer like Paulie with a good jab. He is great at countering and picking apart come forward fighters like Urango, but I would like to see how he deals with a quick, slick, fighter like Paulie. Khan had the speed, the jab, and the physicality to deal with Malignaggi, Alexander lacks in those areas, although his hands are still quite fast.

I would still pick Alexander and Kotelnik to beat Malignaggi. But I doubt they wouldn't dominate him like Khan did.
