although i have a hard time believeing pac actually agreed to testing up til the fight, i also dont believe this is the reason why mayweather chose not to fight him in november. i also believe that the fight will happen soon enough. should be interesting to see what comes out in the next few months...im tired of all the lames from both sides on this forum.

Margarito: “Arum assured me a fight with Manny Pacquiao in November”

According to Dan Antuna of Tijuana newspaper Frontera, Antonio Margarito confirmed his next bout for May 8th in Aguascalientes, MX. After his bid to fight on the March 13th fight card in Dallas, TX, was not solidfied, the “Tijuana Tornado” will still face Carson Jones at the yearly state fair held in that Mexican city.

“The fight in May is confirmed directly from Bob Arum of Top Rank. He also assured me a fight with Manny Pacquiao in November,” Margarito stated.

He also mentioned that he would not be appearing at a hearing to solicit his license from the California State Atlethic Commission.

“Arum recommended me not to go, he said that I complied with teh sanction and they should give me the lincense without attending and audience,” he explained.

Margarito has been training at the Azteca Gym and the Mojac Gym, both in Tijuana.

Because he would be asked this question everytime he tries to sell the margarito fight...Its normal, Whenever Mayweather decides to come out of his Vacation and annouce a fight he also would be faced with questions related to Pacquiao...Again its normal.

The so called "biggest fight in boxing history" is on the line. Legacy is on the line. How often do we see 2 ATG in the apex of their careers in the biggest fight of their careers. You don't think being known as the coward at this particular point in time won't stick, won't affect what is written in the annals of boxing. Think again buddy. Am sure Arum would have be singing the "They agreed to full random testing" If Pac really agreed to it, I dont believe Pac at all. I believe he has to say this now to save face......Sorry.

Exactly. Turning down a mega fight because of not wanting to be tested ost is just bad and makes you look guilty. Not wanting to be tested even with a 2 week grace period because you dont think 2 weeks is enough time to recover from a blood test is just ridiculous.

Not what espn, yahoo, foxSports, Sports Illustrated, CBS sports, and most fans, etc are saying. Specially with the "no negotiations" fiasco. Most have accepted manny's willingness to take the 14 days as sufficient and now manny is revealing it was a no cut off that was agreed to. Where do you live to say tat the majority of the people think Pac is roiding. That is just not true. Most people are on manny's side especially now.

do you realize how ****** you are? so if they're going to negotiate again next year pac would just deny what he said in front of the media
