Comments Thread For: Carl Froch Explains The Future Direction of The Super Six

During a recent appearance on BBC Radio, former super middleweight champion Carl Froch confirmed krikya360.com's reports from a few weeks ago on the direction of the Super Six Boxing Classic. With the unexpected withdrawal of Mikkel Kessler, the remaining bouts between Froch and Abraham and Andre Dirrell vs. Andre Ward will become part of the semi-finals and Allan Green will be dropped from the competition. Kessler, unable to fight for nine months due to an eye injury, will vacate his WBC title. Abraham and Froch will fight for the vacant title on October 2 and Kessler is guaranteed a shot at the winner. [Click Here To Read More]

I think that it's a disgrace that two fighters from different countries settled their dispute to fight in athird country (Froch vs AA), whereas two fighters from the same country still have nothing to offer for the public and us fans (Ward vs Dirrell).

I guess we'll be seeing a rematch of Kessler vs. Ward for the title!

Ward isn't gonna give Kessler a rematch, he has nothing to prove by fighting him again.

If Abraham or Froch win they will happily fight Kessler for big money in Europe. If Ward wins he will just vacate the WBC title before wasting his time beating a guy he has already completely dominated.

Bute is going to leave the division. I don't think he's going to hang around the SMW division to fight the winner.

Froch is very lucky he hasn't even won a fight yet legitimately he should be 0-2 right now.
