ROUND 1:
Segura comes out charging, trying to find the openings. Calderon seems ready, on the defense. Both men swinging and missing. The size is definitely showing up but Calderon is already finding a home for his right hand. He continues to make Segura miss, however Segura doesn't seem fazed by the defense. Segura seems to be a step behind the faster man and Calderon is landing some jabs and backing up. Calderon ties up on the inside, but Segura tries landing on the inside. About a minute left in the round, Both men still trying to look for their angle. Segura seems stunned by a right hand but Segura takes it well enough and continues to come in. Segura begins jabbing but is getting caught on the way in.

ROUND 2: Segura comes out in much the same manner as the first, rushing, trying to land something big. Segura has been warned for a low blow and both seem to be nearing a headbutt. Both trade on the inside and both land solid shots. Calderon continues to back up and counter, as Segura searches for something to stick. Calderon loads up with a shot and Segura ducks but can't take advantage of an off-balance Calderon. Segura lands solid to the body. Both men trying to find a shot, not throwing much as Segura continues to try and cut the large ring off. Calderon lands a chopping right hand then backs up. Calderon ducking and dodging and Segura tries for the body. Nothing major from either man.

20-18, Ivan Calderon.

ROUND 3: Segura seems eager to try some uppercuts on the inside but Calderon remains elusive. Calderon continues to make Segura miss wildly. Calderon jabbing, setting up a counter left hand. A solid left hand for Segura lands but Calderon takes it well. The referee tells Calderon to keep the punches up. Calderon backing up, looking to counter as Segura comes in, trying to attack the body of his older foe. Jabbing for Calderon, followed by a left. Another solid left lands on the button for Calderon but Segura takes it well. Both miss jabs as the round comes to an end.
