Marg fought in Mexico after his suspension was over. At that time he was just like you or me, he didnt have a licence in the US.

But yea i think they denied him because he wasn gonna fight there anyway and Texas is willing to give him a licence no matter what the ruling

I regret having to disagree with your statement, they did not find "plaster" in the pads etc. what they said was that they found TWO COMPONENTS OF PLASTER OF PARIS in the pads, whilst at the same time agreeing that the same components were also used extensively in other materials such as cosmetics.

As a matter of fact, which I have ascertained by asking a chemist, the same components are found in TALCUM POWDER. besides, Nat Fleischer's (et al) experiment many years ago, and as detailed in the RING ****ZINE finally proved beyond ANY DOUBT that it was IMPOSSIBLE to manufacture an effective, durable Plaster of Paris wrapping for the inside of a boxing glove, that AS SOON AS IT WAS USED TO PUNCH (in the experiment it was a bag) it would disintegrate.

Thank god our sport still has some integrity. Boxing is to be taken serious because of the dangers in the ring. Break a cardinal rule and put another person in serious danger, you don't get a second chance.

Understand something the guy had old gauze on his hands not bricks. It was for protection. If the guy had a sock on his hand it would be considered illegal. Realize this. Margarito would hands down be the toughest guy Pacquiao has ever faught. But you idiots act like it would be a walk in the park. You do this just to take credit away from Pacquiao. He's fighting a bigger guy, a relentless guy, an all around solid fighter, and a guy thats actually willing to fight. If he fights Floyd then Floyd will just use his feet and run around for 6-8 rounds before he even attemps to sit down on a punch. WTF wants to see that. Pacquiao-Margarito will be all action and definetly worth the money. I'm tired of ****** people who easily get swayed by the media. The media does'nt know **** it's been proven over and over. I've tried to somewhat forgive Margarito for the glove incident, but I can't. It's clear he tried to cheat when he says he didn't know what was put in his gloves. The reason why the CSAC is denying him his license is because he isn't acting sorry for what he did and he tried to circumvent the system. All the while admitting that he has been plastered up his whole career, but didn't know what was put in the gloves. The dude's whole career is tainted now.

If he cops a plea, he has no legal
leverage against the CSAC!!!
