Comments Thread For: Margarito is Denied a License in California: Full Report

I've tried to somewhat forgive Margarito for the glove incident, but I can't. It's clear he tried to cheat when he says he didn't know what was put in his gloves. The reason why the CSAC is denying him his license is because he isn't acting sorry for what he did and he tried to circumvent the system. All the while admitting that he has been plastered up his whole career, but didn't know what was put in the gloves. The dude's whole career is tainted now.

You should be less intemperate in scattering your phony accusations around, especially when they are all in one direction.
By the way, for those who are trying to condemn Arum to death for trying to obtain a licence for Margarito, please be reminded that it is his duty to do the best he can for his signed fighters, especially when his sympathies are totally with them.
It is he who knows them intimately, and, as a sharpshooting lawyer, as well as a veteran boxing weasel, would best know if they were telling the truth or not.

A fight between Pacquiao and Margarito would be exciting but I believe all the other state commissions should follow suit because what they attempted to do was criminal.
As a matter of fact, which I have ascertained by asking a chemist, the same components are found in TALCUM POWDER. besides, Nat Fleischer's (et al) experiment many years ago, and as detailed in the RING ****ZINE finally proved beyond ANY DOUBT that it was IMPOSSIBLE to manufacture an effective, durable Plaster of Paris wrapping for the inside of a boxing glove, that AS SOON AS IT WAS USED TO PUNCH (in the experiment it was a bag) it would disintegrate.
I SAID IT WOULD CRUMBLE UP TO POWDER.....TO POWDER......UNDERSTAND DUMBOS ??
