Jacobs threw alot of arm punches in there and didnt get to sit on much of anything because pirog kept bringing the heat .. great win for Pirog -

Nah, he was out cold. It just would not have been safe to let it go on. The ref did the right thing and a good job. We'd be saying very differently if he had let it go on and then he got stopped again and was out for the full count. It's a fight, these things happen to the best of them.
Jacobs can learn and grow from this. It's really not a big deal at all at this point in his career.Comment

Pirog knew he was going to stop him the moment he hurt him in the 2nd round. It was ominous. I thought Jacob did a good job in round 3-4 though, he found a way to negate Pirog somewhat. But it was all entirely backfoot stuff, not sure I even saw Jacobs on the back foot before this fight; he was always going to get caught.
