Pirog probably would of ended up winning the fight but that was an awful stoppage. Jacobs was hurt but clearly regained his composure and would of beat the count. You don't end a fight like that just on a hunch that he wouldn't beat the count, especially when the fighter that went down had won 3 of the first 4 rounds. That was an awful job by Robert Bryd.

agree. i think pirog would have finished him off, but the ref should have let him do it.
ref should have at least given jacobs a chance to try to get on his feet.
if he stumbles trying to get up, ok stop it then, but he didn't even give him a chance.
