If Pac had the heart to fight Pwillz I would give him his props. He would still have to beat PBF to be the man.

I keep hearing this but Manny can reach Williams Chin. I have seen bigger height differences in fights and the smaller man still was able to land flush shot on their opponents chin. Not only that but Pwilliams bends down alot. I'm not commenting on how the fight will play out but that is just some food for thought

e.g Tyson only being 5-10 but connecting flush on guys who were 6-6 and taller.

If its ok for Quintana (who fought Cotto),Cintron (who fought Martinez),Margarito (who fought Mosley,Cotto) All to fight Williams, (WITHOUT LIMITS or SPECIAL DEMANDS) Then Pac "the best", Should also fight them them too. Word. Arum was trying to make the fight with Pavlik, but Williams was only accepting 50/50 as well as the gate money. Williams doesn't deserve 50/50 period, but asking that of the gate as well... Just stop people NO ONE knows who Williams is that is why he can't get fights. People aren't scared to fight him, Sergio is calling him out and he's completely avoiding the fight. You can't get the most avoided man in boxing label when you are avoiding someone that is calling you out. IMO, Goosen knows Williams loses to anyone he doesn't have a significant size advantage on. Sergio will easily win a rematch as I have seen him improve where Williams seems to be losing skills. He hunches over more than ever completely taking away what height advantage he does have, and he throws so many punches he's open for counters.

Martinez seemed to step up his aggression in the Pavlik fight, started throwing more combinations with tighter punches. Williams doesn't want the fight because he'll know he'll lose, against Pacman he probably wins. 7-8 inches in height, 7+ inches of reach advantage and 20+ pounds on fight night... Manny is good but even that may be too much to overcome. Then again Williams is so sloppy Manny may be able to dart in and out and will and just hit the body all night.

As a big Pacquiao fan, I agree with everything Goosen has said since word got out that Margs wasn't licensed by Nevada (rightfully so). What's the point of Pacquiao-Cotto II if in I, Miguel had his face reconstructed by Pacquiao and got on his bike for a few rounds before the ref ended it mercifully? I say since Margs can't get his license to fight in the U.S., Arum should make Cotto-Margarito II in Puerto Rico... can you imagine if Tony knocked out Miguel IN HIS HOME COUNTRY? There would be a full on riot. Plus the PPV should do 800K+ in my estimation (the first one did a respectable 500K, this one has waaaay more drama and a bonafide 'villain').

With Floyd still in hiding, there aren't really too many fights the public will shell out big bucks to see, but a fight with the anomaly Williams would easily do 1 million+ buys. This fight makes perfect sense.

AND Freddie Roach is on record that Pacquiao would fight Williams at 147...

Actually even though Cheato should be banned for life Cotto/Cheato 2 is a bigger fight than Pac/Cotto 2 or Pac/Cheato. The drama surrounding the rematch would make it huge.

Nah, The fight was agreed several times, Press conference called, Williams started a training camp only for Pavlik to pull out with hand injuries and only to fight someone else a few weeks after, Thats was after several pull outs by Pavlik or Arum, Rumours were Arum string Team williams along because of his hate for Williams adviser (Haymon).

Goosen promotion lost money because of Arum and wanted to be compensated by them both promoting the fight and both sharing the pot 50-50, Arum said no..

Difference here is cotto was restricted to 145 in a title fight, Paul williams competes from 147-160, If he wants to drain himself by fighting at 147 so be it.

what's the difference? also, paul does not compete in the 147-160...paul has been fighting at 160 for a while...its been a while since he fought at 147. in this regard, you're also saying pac fights in the 135-147 divisions.

Already told you the difference, Paul williams can still make 147 (Probably drained) but it has been known he fights between 147-160, He would come down to 147 if the big names like Mayweather,Pac,cotto etc wants it.

Weight restriction and weight draining yourself are two different thing.
