This story should have the Cotto stans on shut the fuck up mode. But they gotta keep crying about that plaster subject and not man up to the fact that Cotto is a sitting duck for anybody who has stamina and is willing to take his best punches in return.

Cotto got wiped out in the power punch department after the fight was concluded. Margarito landed less overall, but he still landed more power shots. Cotto was not dominant in the first half like his nut huggers will lead you to believe.

why wasn't it a shutout if he got wiped out?

People seem to forget how well Cotto was doing before the second half of the fight...right about when the plaster would be hardening. margachito might have as much conditioning as...Pacquiao for instance, but he is not nearly as fast, his defense is substandard and he is an arm puncher.

Yes he got to the body alot (late rounds) but toney's work rate didnt pick up till AFTER the 6th round.He was still mummed in the early rounds,HE WAS TRYING TO CATCH A COTTO GHOST.Swinging north south left right at a bumble bee.This is why like iceta said he landed less but more power shots (hmm).C'mon you cant be for real to say technically wise toney is better.And yes cotto got tagged alot....on the ropes.Never in the middle of the ring.He's learned from his mistakes,has the tornado learned from mosley?




Amid this is why the rematch is beyond anticipated.Im all in for it.

LATE ROUNDS??? I can't believe you're serious. Dude by the 8th round NO ONE has landed as many power punches on Cotto. NO ONE!! Most of them were body shots too.
