Well he has to deal with it, Of course that would happen not only to him but to most boxers, For me that isnt a bad thing, Ghana have produce some of the best boxers over the years and most of them are true warriors.

So Clottey or anyone shouldnt expect any symphathy especially with the way he fought in that fight. Ike Quartey, Azumah Nelson etc all critised him and rightly so.

I do sympathize with Clottey, despite me knowing what I saw. In the red, I agree.

I enjoyed that interview. Thanks for that. Made me remember how competitive he was with Cotto and Margarito while Pacquiao was dominant. Hope he gets busy and gets back on the winning track.

To be honest, I dont have any sympathy for him. I tolerate alot of things from boxers but if you cant walk the walk do not talk the talk, I dont like it when boxers complain of been ducked for years, Then they get a great opportunity and just refuse to fight, Same way i dont feel any sympathy for Allan Green.

I dont mind if they give it there all, But not to fight at all is even more difficult to understand, I spend over a thousand pounds to go from here to Pheonix to Dallas to see the fight only to see one fighter refusing to fight.

We never saw it vs Cotto, we never saw it vs Margarito. Some fighters are not capable of adjusting. Clottey was not capable of changing his style that night. Even when his trainer was telling him the right things to do he wasn't able to do it. Not because he lacks heart, but because he lacks the skill.

And dw bout it mate, seems like you've given up on Clottey.
That is some ridiculous reasoning. You're basically saying that Clottey lacks the "skill" to throw more punches than he's accustomed to? That's downright ludicrous. This is the sport of boxing and Clottey is a professional fighter who gets paid a lot of money to do what he does. The only person that really knows why he didn't open up was him, but to say he didn't because he lacked the "skill" to do it is ridiculous. He's a professional fighter, he doesn't lack the skill to throw more punches than he's accustomed to. He may lack the will/heart to do it in fear of getting knocked out, but he certainly doesn't lack the skill to do it. If Clottey truly wanted to open up, even if it was out of his comfort zone, he easily could have.

We as fans can only make assumptions, and having watched the fight the guy appeared scared and was unwilling to lay it all on the line for a chance of a lifetime. And for that he'll be frowned upon by the majority of the boxing community for probably the rest of his career. I don't care whether you're willing to support the guy or not, but don't pile up more excuses for a man whose already got a whole laundry list of them.

Did you see this tulip dance his way into the ring? Class act? The lad is hand pump. He would like to fight Cotto again. I would like if he fought the desire to fight again as he is as entertaining as the **** I just took. FACT!
