That is very true about Jack...

Well obviously you didn't keep on reading to see this post.

He’d make me pay a physical price. But at middleweight, I think I’d wear him down and win. Me and Marvin Hagler would have been a war. We’d both be in the hospital afterward with straws in our mouth. We’d destroy each other. I wouldn’t run from Marvin. My game-plan would be, rough him up, box, rough him up, box. You wouldn’t use judges for that fight. You’d go by the doctors’ reports. Whichever one of us is damaged less gets the win. Carlos Monzon? I could lose that fight. Monzon was tall, rangy, did everything right. I see myself losing that fight more than winning it. I ain’t saying I’m number one, but I’m one of the best middleweights of all time. My legacy is what it is. If you want to be great, then beat Bernard Hopkins.”

He actually did say such a thing believe it or not.

the quote of him saying he'd break monzon down is a newer quote, the quote of him saying he could lose is an older quote.

Have you guys watched Hopkins fight? Have you seen him lose to Jermain Taylor?

He's lucky to break into top 50, much less top 20.

Only in a generation that lacks severe quality at MW could he even be considered a top "20 mw"....

          Hopkins is a bad joke.

Its not by fault everyone gets taken by HBO propaganda. It just so happens that I'm immune to their bull****.

Fuck Hopkins jab and grab style. Mauling and making it a point to spoil fights doesn't make you an ATG...

            Seriously, fuck him.

Probably. I am a minor nuthugger of Monzon. Stalking, walking you down probably makes his opponents feel the inevitability. . Of course being an ******* outside on the ring helps. Lolz.

Hopkins was 40 years old when he lost to jermain taylor.

Show me your top 20 MW list. Better yet show me your top 10 MW list.

But, he still said it. Was he lying then or lying now? I am not hating on the due. I do think Monzon beats him tough. But, really nothing has changed from that interview from this one. Is not like he had a career defining victory after that interview where he said Monzon would win. Unless you count the Roy Jones victory a good victory.

Monzon and Hagler both get UD'd by Hopkins.

                      i prefer hagler.

that said , i have no problems with anyone thinking monzon is the best middleweight ever.

between those 2 , hagler and monzon.

hopkins is not , should not , even be in the discussion.
