Arthur Abraham: Assuming King Arthur (35-0 with 30 KOs) is still at his top level, he will blast out Froch, but he may well have lost a lot of skill when Dirrell beat him comprehensively. Prior to the Dirrell fight, after watching Dirrell struggle but beat Froch I reckoned that King Arthur would smash him. Even Ward, after he beat Kessler, didn't look good enough to handle Abraham (perhaps Ward isn't - we'll find out in Ward vs. Dirrell).
Ward had two good shots against a tired Kessler (who changed trainer and came back fitter), and the mediocre Green, and Dirrell has been sooo lucky against Abraham...
Anyway the best fighter nowadays in the super-middleweight division is Bute. Bute could be a p4p king. You got to admit, the guy has it all: speed, power, heart, technique, spirit. In two words: he is tough and quiet. No "Son of God" fanfares, no Muhammad Ali hit off's. True champion.
Bute's in the same league as Hopkins and Roy Jones, to show it he just needs to face those Supersix guys, after the tournament is over. Then we'll see who is Bute. I believe.

I had seven rounds for Froch when i watched it live and when i rewatched i gave one more close round to Froch.
      Kessler - Froch
      116 - 112

Ward, Bute has not beaten anyone on Kessler's level yet.

I think it's definitely Ward, and I might put Dirrell, Froch, and Kessler above Bute as well. If Bute was in this tourney he wouldn't be looking so damn good as he does fighting Edison freaking Miranda. I don't see how Bute is jumping up the rankings so quick.

Me neither, I was impressed on him stopping Miranda so early, not so much with stopping Miranda in general. His KO of Andrade was great though.

atm Andre ward since he is leading the super six at the current moment of time ...but i reckon that will change pretty soon since arthur is coming for the rest of the super six fighters...

I don't see how either. **** I find it hard putting him at 2. Let alone 1. He def getting the benefit of not fighting in the S6.

                      Here it is.
It's natural right now, looking to the records, Bute is clearly no. 1 of the division and the man to beat. Also, Bute fights cleaner than Ward (let alone Dirrell), he's more correct and more powerful.
Ward, like averagely all the American fighters, has a higher work-rate, and the favor of the referee.
I'm not saying Ward is not a champion. He has probably the highest work-rate in the division. And in a match set in the USA, Ward would surely give Bute a harsh time. Ward is a pressure fighter, while Bute is a puncher. He's also more experienced than Ward, which anyway has a glorious amateur record, and like all the great amateurs, he can boxe very well.
I just can't wait for that fight to happen: Ward vs Bute, Pac vs Floyd and Haye vs a Klitschko, are the fights that have to be made within the next couple of years.

Anyway, for myself I really don't see how Ward can be compared to Hopkins... No way.
