Ward is a good fighter, very intelligent but his style is a bad match up against a ugly, gritty, roughneck, brawler that is Carl Froch. Not to mention the steel chin and work rate.

well the fighters in this Tournament will have a tough time beating him, Dirrell is fast enough but probably not strong enough to keep Ward from working him inside either but I do think Dirrell will likely be his toughest opponent, Abraham is strong enough but not fast enough

I picked him or Abraham before this Tournament started and I think it will come down to them but Ward style is going to be EXTREMELY tough to beat, only way he gets beat is if he gets ROBBED in another Country like Dirrell did against Froch

A brawler is tailor made for a boxer. He will beat Froch rather easily in my opinion. He won't be moving as much as Direll did when he fought Froch and he will actually sit down on his shots (although he isn't the biggest puncher). If he doesn't stop him, he beats Froch in a WIDE UD.

Frch has zero chance against Ward. Froch cannot fight on the inside. That's all Ward would need to do.....make it an inside fight and it's all over. Froch needs range to be effective, Ward won't give him any.

AA has the best chance of any of the European fighters of beating Ward.

Froch can't fight on the inside? Where did that come from? Don't look at the Kessler fight, Froch was trying to fight like Dirrell in that one. If he fights like he normally does, Ward will be in for hell if he tries to bully the man who made his career by being the bully.

I don't think it would look like Froch-Pascal, Ward fights nothing like him, and wouldn't go to war from mid range.

Plus, Ward is a much smarter fighter than Pascal and Froch.
