Its going to be hard to beat Ward

Man, Ward can box man. He can do it from the outside or the inside. Froch is going to get embarrassed, like seriously. Froch will have a hard time landing ANYTHING clean on Ward, hear me man. And please don't mention Ward along the lines of Taylor.

Trust. Carl Froch has the style, that style that you just can't count out. That blue collar style. Ward ain't gonna embarrass him. He doesn't focus on being slick. He will be there to be hit and that dirty stuff ain't working against a guy who is also willing to do whatever it takes to get the W.

Ward doesn't fight like him but what I meant was that Ward would be willing to stay right in front of Froch. Ward is also a mid range fighter. If he fought like he did today, then I definitely don't think Ward would win. Froch is about as dirt and ugly as they get. If your gonna fight Froch ugly, your gonna be in for a long day.

Would fought a similar way against Kessler and at times against Miranda. Though, he can use the ring from the outside, he's become a multi-dimensional fighter.

But unlike Pascal, Ward won't be constantly squared up and trading bombs, Ward likes to get himself low and make himself a small target, and uses that to get on the inside and smother. At mid range, Ward's defense is better than Pascal, and it is in general.

But Froch doesn't have much off an inside game. Against Kessler, he was slapping a lot with his hooks when he was up close and comes in square a lot. Sure he can be dirty, but I see Ward smothering him, and leaning on him.

His focus is great to be such a young fighter and he is hungry. Dude is good man. Very talented and he can fight on the outside and he's VERY tough on the inside. I want him to go ahead and stop Green and LOL @ All of the "Green is going to knock him out cold" thread. Skills pay the bills. And yes, I can't WAIT till he puts his hands on Dirrel on Sept. 25!!!!!!!

Seriously though beating Green is nothing to brag about. Neither is headbutting and holding. I actually think Dirrell has superior skills he just needs more confidence and balls..Green wasnt worthy of being in the super 6 he just talked a good game to get the payday and Im sure Shotime didnt mind throwing an underachieving fighter in the ring with Ward.

If Froch and Ward fought in Nottingham with a UK ref and three UK judges he still won't beat Ward.

Ward is the most skilled and versatile boxer at 168. I view him as a strong candidate to become the next P4P #1 when Mayweather and Pacquiao retire.

Frotch I don't think stands much of a chance of beating Ward. Ward can beat him on the outside, and probably beat him on the inside as well. Dirrell is probably the most dangerous opponent for Ward in the Super 6 tournament. Dirrell is probably the only boxer at 168 who is faster than Ward and who might be able to beat Ward on the outside. Ward is more well-rounded and better than Dirrell on the inside, but he might not be able to get inside consistently enough to win that way.

I understand you guys like Ward, I do too but damn. You guys actin like he is some magical ninja that can dodge air.

Everything he does fits right into Froch's style. Standing in front of you, predominant mid-range, rather block than evade. Even the inside game. He isn't gonna do what he did against Green. Froch won't just sit there and let him lean against him. If Froch can't work he will start rabbit punching the **** out of him, trust.

Ward's best bet is trying to out box Froch. If he fights anything like he did with Kessler and Green. I would favor Froch to beat him in a ugly fight with a decision win. Your not gonna out-ugly a naturally ugly boxer. Your not gonna out **** him either. Ask Jermain Taylor how that game plan turned out.



We will have to wait and see. Thanks to you guys, I want to see Froch-Ward more than anything else. More than Pacquiao and Floyd now. Just wait and see. You will be disappointed in Ward, either that or scream robbery. Like all the Dirrell fans did.

Again F L I C K, Ward can mixed it up. He can actually box from the outside or fight tough on the inside. We haven't seen Direll do that. So to compare how Direll fought Froch and how Ward would fight him, itsn't really accurate. And I just read your last post, again, please don't compare Taylor and Ward. Please don't.
