I think green was paid off, he gave ward a look at the end of the rd like you know what's up.

This is absurd but if he is the late comer to the tourney and has little chance to win the entire thing anyways, making him the scapegoat and hitting him off with some extra cash. It is plausible because he is nonexistent in this one no attempt at anything

yes i have and he DOES do this.
a lot of it is smothering and body/ head positioning a la b-hop and freddie norwood.
his outside boxing skills are kinda overrated.

IMO, its like he's trying to mimic b-hops style. its very low risk and very conservative, but people think he's being aggressive

uhhh no, he doesnt fight in the pocket a lot. he throws punches on the outside and then he clinches. thats very different from pocket fighting.

I would like to see Ward try and hit and hold Abraham, his arms are like tree trunks and that defence will deflect the leading headbutt.

I don't get the constant criticism of Ward to be honest. If Green was actually fighting in there it would be pretty interesting. Instead it's just Ward beating Green up shoulder to shoulder.
