    POLL: Hopkins vs. Bute

    Who do you have and how?

    Personally I believe it's the end of the line for the old man. I really can't see him beating Bute, if he does it would be a huge win IMO.

      hops got no legs and cant keep up the activity. it will be an ugly fight though, one that bute can't possibly come out looking good.

      Bute should not make this fight.

        @ 175? I've only seen Bute a few times, but I know he is very good fighter, who should have been part of the super six. Hopkins just doesn't seem like he can keep up with these top younger fighters. He'll be accurate and time his opponent, but he doesn't do enough at times.

        I take Bute by decision.

          Hopkins is too dirty for Bute. Hopkins wins by decision. Bute's handlers better keep him away from Hopkins because we all know the only man to beat Hopkins decisively was a green Roy Jones. After that, his losses were ugly close fights. This will only make Bute's name value drop if he losses. If he wins well he just beat a 45 year old and Hopkins can use the excuse that he's just too old, which is an actual excuse not a made up one.

          Lose-lose situation for Bute.

            The fight will likely be at 170 imo.

            Either way, I don't care how ****ty hopkins looked against jones. He looked ****ty against calzaghe too. Hopkins will be the underdog in this fight and that's when he does his best work.

                thats what they said about pavlik. hopkins aint a normal fighter! hes special. hopkins by late tko or ko.
