Man no matter who Khan fights, no one is happy and still hates him. Even if he were to beat Ortiz, then its "well Ortiz is taylor made for him and he was cherry picking". He beat Paulie, "hes not a heavy hitter and not that impressive". Though those things were said AFTER Amir killed Paulie.

The kid is still learning and only going to get better. No one sees that. Instead its just, "Fight EVERYONE NOW". Lets say that Bradley and Alexander fight, and Amir fights the winner. Freddy Roach picked Juan Manuel Marquez because he looked bad at 140+ ,and Marquez coming off a hugely lopsided fight against Floyd is just what Roach wanted for good 'ole' Kahn, instead of Maidana, who was his mandatory . Barinstein knows not to get Marquez anywhere around 140, Marquez is no 140 pounder, he COULDN"T EVEN MOVE FLOYD, even his speed and power looked a little off at 135lbs. And that's Roach's plan, not to put Kahn against a guy who has power, getting naturally smaller guys with big names like Casamayor or marquez(are also getting up there in age), blow them up(or in other cases drain them) and watch their power diminish as they get near near 140.

Exactly why Floyds win over Marquez shouldnt be OVERHYPED.. Thank you for pointing that out..

Marquez doesnt and should not be above 135 PERIOD.
