So let's analyze this for a minute when it comes to the "baddest: and "most avoided man" in the division. They send him a contract for a career high pay 250k, hbo main event, against one of the most recognizable figures in the division which of he beats his status goes sky high, not to mention for the WBA belt which he loves so much and turns it down? after all the **** the man has been talking for the last year or so come on b. I even noticed that every time they would ask him about gamboa right around his fight with daud he would avoid the question always and somehow start talking about lopez. I'm sorry but this cat aint getting no love from me bro, if he was such a bad man he would've taken that in a second

Yeah fact is, is that hes in no position to pick and choose. You dont turn down a fight with Gamboa you just dont.

Cab is ranked higher P4P than Gamboa. He has had more fights. Is older than he is and has a better resume. Close to 50-50 for this fight was the way to go. Maybe not in the case of Lopez since he has a PR fan base. I still think Gamboa lowballed Cab.

Gamboa's team tells HBO that they don't want the fight, and that's somehow Caballero's fault?
Too funny.

According to dibella and espn, Top Rank told HBO they didn't want the fight.
It's all over the news.
