135 was never for him, I dont know why he was dragged there in the first place, He was hurt by superfeather weights who cant punch limond, Michael gomez hurt him with a graze punch etc and prescott wobbled with a left jab within 10 secs.

He seem to have work to got his chin protected now and the weight is better for him, High guard, patience, jab and chin tucked in.

the barrera fight was @ 135. Even still I dont think he was wobbled, he just wanted to clinch immediately to nullify barrera's "inside" punching range. Khan has difficulty fighting inside.

It dosent necessarily mean he was hurt. Also with the sky sports camera you could only see half of his legs at the exact frame where the left hook landed.

He's right. I was about to mention Drilzane (1 KO in 23 fights :laff2: ), but to Khan's credit that wasn't really a KD even though it was called officially.

It's improved, which is why Maidana was paid step aside money and Malignaggi was hand picked as an opponent instead.

If his chin was still bad, they would've paid the power puncher off in order to avoid him, and they would've instead chosen to fight a guy with bad hands and only 5 career KOs.

              Oh wait...

Yeah but roach had amazing confidence in khan at the post fight press conference and he directly told the reporters that he wanted maidana next.

I'm not convinced either that Khan's chin has improved alot because of the move up in weight, then again it may of improved slightly. It worked for Cotto.

One thing Khan has improved in his defence, his hands are always up high.

Yeah, I offered to bet points that he wouldn't fight Maidana next in that thread. No one took me up on the offer. I started a thread in the betting section. No one took me up on the offer. Khan fans keep going on about him stepping up, but none seem to really believe it. Roach's word is not 100% reliable.

                    Let's look at the evidence:

On the one hand you have Khan paying Maidana in order to avoid him.

On the other you have Khan saying he wants to fight Maidana.

Hmm, I wonder which side is more convincing, actions or words?

actions your right. But I can tell you that the reason you have a chance of winning this bet is because maidana wont be available for july 31st because of his injury. Khan wants to fight on july 31st in the uk.
