Hey check this out, for those of you who have an issue with "Pure Boxing" why are you still in the thread? If you disagree with it then exit. Go find something you do agree with, cause to be honest, the truths of the original post is what you want to divert. Let me remind you again:
The highest Paid, Biggest names, most talked about, biggest PPV fighters in the boxing has always and will continue to be the Pure boxers, fighters who happen to have the best all around skills, the most clever in the game. Robinson, Ali, Leonard, Jones, Mayweather!!! What do all of them have in common, they can box their ass off, thats what. And they aint afraid to call you a ***** and then make you look like one in the ring.
A shame that the best you detractors can come up with is if they did it "purely" or not.Last edited by M.I.C.; 05-18-2010, 02:59 PM.

Ali was like the least technically sound fighter ever, he just had such ridiculous gifts that he got away with it. He's like the precursor to Roy Jones, another non-pure boxer who was the king for a long time. Mike Tyson, Roberto Duran, Holyfield, Pacquiao, De La Hoya...not pure boxers and were all the faces of boxing for a time.
