So Calderon is not a pure boxer but Barrera is?

    Is that what you're saying?

And just maybe I have to remember I'm dealing with a lot of nationalists or better stated racists on this forum to. Perhaps my list included too many African Americans for you to deal with. Maybe you got something against the African American boxing style that many like to call Pure boxing.

i wouldnt say oscar or rjj were pure boxers imo. the problem with most brawlers is that they dont have the footspeed handspeed or head movement to beat these defensive counterpunching boxers they relay on there chin power and toughness. pacquiao and calzaghe have what it takes to beat a pure boxer it really depends on the individual not so much the style

African American boxing style is not Pure boxing style. Im African American and I box like one, my coach hates it. Its like comparing ball room dancing to break dancing.

How can you say Pac has the ability to beat a Pure Boxer when the closest he fought to 1 was Marquez, and when Morales opted to box rather than Brawl he beat Pac easily? And are you really going to compare Calzage beating a past prime RJ and BHop as evidence, he didn't meet many pure boxers in his career.

Go find something you do agree with, cause to be honest, the truths of the original post is what you want to divert. Let me remind you again:

The highest Paid, Biggest names, most talked about, biggest PPV fighters in the boxing has always and will continue to be the Pure boxers, fighters who happen to have the best all around skills, the most clever in the game. Robinson, Ali, Leonard, Jones, Mayweather!!! What do all of them have in common, they can box their ass off, thats what. And they aint afraid to call you a ***** and then make you look like one in the ring.

A shame that the best you detractors can come up with is if they did it "purely" or not.
where's tyson? he was the highest paid most talked about fighter after the ali era. delahoya is a pure boxer? he's got skills but he even is not boxing fundamentally, his lead left jab is his power punch, right hand almost no power and almost does nothing.

and as with 99% of the replies here, you call RJJ a pure boxer?
