you know what, we can disagree without it being racist.

hey you know what, floyd has a big abnoxious mouth, he is disrespectful and harms the sport with his mouth and immaturity. he was on jim rome two days before the shane fight and when jim was asking legitimate questions he responds with his punk ass mouth saying that "opinions are like *******s, everyone has one"-------------430, prime time and that is how floyd represents and advertises the sport. jim has had floyd on two times before and trying to give the sport some air time and attention and that is how floyd does his interview, like a punk big mouth

he should be carrying the sport with pride, he is the most well known american boxer but instead of carrying the torch and being an ambassador of the sport he drowns it to the casual fan

that is the problem with floyd, it isnt because he is black, its time to let the racist bull**** go

Good points but, the truth is racism is still here. It's just in more suttle ways and behind closed doors. Everything else you said is pretty on point. If you looked at Floyd before he became "Money" and before he became and ******* before fights he got "0" recognition from the casual fans. He had no hype who the hell wants to see a pure boxer other than true boxing fans? Why do you think MMA is doing so well? People want to see blood and guts not skill.

There would be no way to be so successful if he didn't.
if i was floyd, i would go after martinez, p-will, etc.... i would go after the record books. i would cement my legacy and not give anyone a chance to question my "greatness"...

Didn't ALI do the same thing? What do you think Joe Louis and SRR thought about that? Floyd is doing everything ALI did and getting hated on the same way ALI did.

understandable, but we are saying as passionate boxing fans why we dislike his attitude and personality.

now look at the casual fan, they dont want anything to do with it.

then there are the outside fans looking in and decide to go to mma instead of boxing.

i feel it hurts the sport overall

floyd has not changed his style in his whole life, he has always been a boxer,

so it is obvious we are buying his fights to watch him box, not talk trash and to expect him to show up and fight like mike tyson

this is evidence enough that he can sell tickets by being the best and beating the best.

no casual fan bought his last fight because they expected him to show up like mike tyson or a young george foreman

my point is that he could carry the sport well, and make his money by representing the sport and bringing the popularity of it back to the casual fan while be respectful to those that paved the way for him

sure he can be ****y and arrogant, but his immature trash talking is overdone

like i stated, his appearance on jim rome was embarrassing
