Pac has more leverage in the Floyd negotiations than most people realize he does.

I think both fighters need each other equally and for sure Floyd is the bigger draw, brings in more paperview sales and should be in the driver’s seat but let’s think about this rationally folks all bias aside. If a Floyd vs Pac clash of the titans fight doesn’t get made then which other fighter out there meets Floyd’s criteria of star power and financial incentive for him to get in the ring with? None if you realistically think about it.

Pac on the other hand has options in the Arum stable. Sure I wouldn’t care for a Pac vs Margorito, or Pac vs Cotto II or Pac vs Foreman but they are realistic possibilities and they sure can’t be worse than Pac vs Clottey. All these fights can be made easily being that they are all Arum’s fighters and will get made if Floyd vs Pac doesn’t happen. Floyd on the other hand wouldn’t have a viable dance partner that meets his criteria of star power and financial incentive.

Pac , Arum and Roach can and will walk away and go to the other options, however I don’t see Floyd with anyone viable to replace Pac with that meets his standards. What do you guys think?

I don't think Manny needs $10 million to survive. Sure it would be good but he's now a politician and he wouldn't spend it if he didn't have it to burn as he's not guaranteed to win the election and if he does he can make that fighting Margorito, Cotto again or Foreman while Arum gets to keep the money in house once again.

I don't think the margarito fight or the cotto 2 will make much money. I won't buy either. Marg is a cheater and the mainstream press would kill bob and manny for fighting him in mexico.

Yeah think about this seriously, how many more $30 million dollar fighters are there out there besides Pac for Floyd to fight. None really if you think about it. After Floyds domination of Shane do you think people are going to pay to see him fight anyone else besides Pac now.

Thats the thing, too Pac is content with fight for 12 to 15 million here and there which he can do, but Floyd is only looking for a $30 million dollar fight which isn't out there if he doesn't fight Pac. Unless Floyd is willing to sacrifice his paperview sales and not making as much money as he's used to in his last couple of fights there is no option that meets his criteria. Sure he can go fight Martinez and Williams which would be good but realistically he won't because they are not major draws and don't meet his criteria.
