I honestly don't think neither Alexander or Bradley will get mainstream anytime soon if ever, which is why they both need to fight each other at this point. Guys like Khan for whatever reason get more hype than any other fighter at 140, then you got Ortiz which still has stock even after he quit, and Maidana will always be talked about because fans and casual fans always love a puncher. Bradley and Alexander got skills to back it up but it's not enough to really reach mainstream, Bradley cries like a ***** in all of his fights and has that born again Christian persona which doesn't sit well with me, and Alexander well...he's not that charismatic, just a straight shooter.

im a fan of both fighters, i think they are by far the two best 140lbers in the world not counting pacquiao. the thing about it is bradley is the main guy, and if he loses theres a risk he falls way back in line. imagine khan and ortiz win their next fight, they are gonna get all the exposure even though they dont deserve it as much as bradley even if he was coming of a loss.

but boxing isnt fair, its time for bradly to step up and give the fans the fight we want to see. mainstream fans might not care for it yet but u need to earn mainstream recognition inside the ring, you dont have an olympic medal so thats the position hes in.

i have given bradley the benefit of the doubt considering the guys he fought, but if he doesnt fight alexander now it will go down as a duck in my book. i love this matchup, it needs to get made asap.

Exactly, Timmy has been crying due to people trying to avoid him, well he's got a young lion salivating for a fight with him, neither man will ever reach mainstream so just make the fight happen, it's a win-win situation for either man regardless of the outcome IMO.
