The thing is, maybe Marquez truly is Pac's worst match up, do Marquez and Floyd have the same counter punching style???? No, so we won't know how they'll fair against each other until they get in the ring.

No, that'd be an ABC comparison. What I did was a comparison of styles.

You're correct, Floyd is a better counter puncher than Marquez. Bigger, faster, stronger, technically superior, etc.

Stylistically, Mayweather is a matchup nightmare for Pac.

In regard to a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, do you also take into account that a planted counter puncher in Marquez was able to outbox Pac for 24 rounds. Landing more punches, both jabs and power punches, and at a higher connect rate?

Bro...I can hit u up in a pm in a few days. I know it sounds like I'm b.s.'ing but I'm dead serious. I have noticed several things in this fight and others. I just don't like to post much on it because the "Floyd has no flaws" or "Floyd is invincible" line of thinking 99% of Floyd fans have on here kills me. I just know if I'm able to see it, Roach sees it as well. Also I have heard Roach hint at it indirectly in a few interviews.

The mosley did on the 2nd rounds.It is like manny did to miguel cotto in the 3rd round.I could see a knockdowns.The punches he could not see is the factor on the fight.

In the minds and opinions of many boxing analyst, experts, and historians; Marques did in fact edge out Pac. However I didn't mention Marquez winning in my post. I simply questioned whether or not you take into account how porous Pacquiao performs against counter punchers.

Im out Hannibal but I will get back to you no doubt. I will say this though, Pac was right, if he had May hurt like Mosley did he would have finished him. Mosley's problem is when he hurts people he only tries to finish with those wide hooks. If he would have followed up with and uppercut (a punch Floyd was wide open for when he was hurt) He would have knocked Floyd out. Go watch as Floyd is hurt and how he leans forward.....then watch as Cotto did the same thing (before the salsa dance) and Pac drops him with an uppercut. Again if that was Pac, Floyd would have been KO'd.
