your really dont like floyd huh. i dont see why all boxing fans dont respect him, he is such a clever boxer, he wins with skill not just KO's. anyone with enough power could get a lucky punch, floyd doesnt need to he can make his opponent look bad and not get tired

he backs up the trash he talks on his terms, never steps outside of himself like so many other fighters have done and lost. Conservative is your opinion. Mine is intelligent. Smartest boxer ever to grace the sport. He goes for the kill but is sure not to put himself in harms way. You might not respect or agree with it, but you should learn to recognize it. He isn't as articulate as you want him to be with his mouth, but in that squared circle he's articulate as you can get. You don't need a KO. You need to impose YOUR will on your opponent and thats exactly what he does. You should be thankful he gave Shane 12Rds to land "the shot" he needed to win. Going 12RDs in the fashion he does is alot more impressive IMO. He's always been a cautious fighter. And why not? He knows his strenghts and his weaknesses he hold his strengths close and executes them to perfection while he exposes and capitalizes on his opponents weaknesses. How is that not backing it up? Do you know why people accepted Tyson? He talked all kinds of **** then went in the ring and tried to kill you.

He didn't talk all kinds of **** about how its going to be a war, then fight a reserved fight taking a few risks as he can.

Same reason why Prince Naz got a pass. He was even ****er than Floyd, but when the time came, he went in the ring, and produced the goods.

The game Floyd talks, and the game Floyd delivers are two different things, and thats why people hate him.

Never said that, to compare fighters across how lines of performance against another fighter is not possible. Cotto easily outboxed Mosley for 12 rounds why wouldn't or couldn't Floyd??? Who is the best PURE boxer of this era. And thats exactly what he did. I think PacMan woulda KO'd Mosley and that Mayweather could of if he wasn't so cautious and if Mosley wasn't hugging him. And Marquez gave PacMan all he could handle. Floyd has done this for years. I re-watched the fight 4x. Mayweather stayed out of range from Mosleys right hand and rolled the rest off his shoulder. Which he has done fer 41 fights. Watch Mayweather survive Round 2. Then Round 3 Mosley came out agressive missed a right and Mayweather landed a three punch combo. The look on Mosleys face the rest of that Round and the rest of the fight and in the corner was one of confusion, discouragement and a beaten fighter. As many of Floyds opponents look like after Rounds 3-6. Mosley was 38, Floyd made him look 48. Which is what Floyd SHOULD do. Mosley had a close fight with Mayorga, you knew then it wasnt the Shane of old. His fight against Margarito was his last hoorah i called it right after. Margo was mentally shaken by what happen with the wraps moments before the fight and was tailor made fer Mosley. Every one has a punchers chance but If you didnt see this outcome of Mayweather/Mosley before this you are borderline Boxing illiterate. Mosleys increasing loss of balance and footwork along with jittery hesitant hands have been highly noticeable.

I’m sure that there are other examples of boxers who were so-called “frauds”. But, I don’t think you can find one who was more recognized than Floyd Mayweather Jr. It’s not just boxing fans and Floyd critics who think Floyd is a fraud, it’s also other boxers.

Miguel Cotto publicly commented that Floyd has a history of ducking other opponents. George Foreman called Floyd scared and said he ran from De La Hoya in their match. And most recently, Manny even said that Floyd is afraid of him.

Conclusion

In my opinion, I would say Floyd would be remembered more for being a fraud than a pioneer of the sport. If Floyd had a longer history of “drug crusading” then that would heavily weigh in his favor. The fact of the matter is, Floyd didn’t start pushing for these random drug tests until it appeared he would fight Manny Pacquiao.

If Floyd was really concerned with cleaning up the sport, then why wasn’t he on the picket lines when steroids weren’t officially tested until 2001/02? The truth is, Floyd only cares about himself and he has made the publicly clear. How can one be a crusader when all the individual cares about is himself? He’s not fighting for a cause, he’s just fighting for his money, fame, and ego.

When you add up Floyd’s criminal record, giant ego, blatant disrespect for others, lack of concern for the fans, degrading comments toward Manny Pacquiao, ducking other fighters, and constantly being all about the money Floyd falls more in line with a “fraud” and not a “pioneer” or “crusader”.
