your really dont like floyd huh. i dont see why all boxing fans dont respect him, he is such a clever boxer, he wins with skill not just KO's. anyone with enough power could get a lucky punch, floyd doesnt need to he can make his opponent look bad and not get tired

Exactly these guys get all crazy over ko's. I think dominating your opponent for 12 rounds is much more impressive than throwing a haymaker and knocking someone out.

Complete respect to Shay Day. I agree, a weekly column would be incredible.

Also agree with people's "outrage" over Floyd's comments about being greater than Ali, etc. If anyone knew anything at all about Muhammad Ali, you'd realize the one guy to smile would have been Ali. He'd probably tell you "thats what I'd have said, too."

ANY fighter should go around thinking they're the best. If you don't think this way, why are you trying to fight? To lose?


No fighter is going to touch Ali and Robinson anyway- they went through far more serious things in life than any of us ever will, due to how the world and the times were. But my point is, Ali and Sugar Ray do not need boxing critics to defend them.

And remember when he fought Hatton. How many buys do you think a Hatton fight would get in America BEFORE Floyd or Manny. Do you think even 100,000? So how did Floyd get to 900+ with him? He was a nobody in the States.

Bet you lost a ton of money on the fight just like all those others who believed Mosley had a chance to win. I watched the fight again on my tivo and saw all those happy people jumping up and down when Mayweather was in trouble in the 2nd round. Among them was Oscar Delahoya and he had a grin on his face as wide as the grand canyon. Those were folks, i'm assuming, who lost a bundle trying to collect on the 4-1 odds. When Mayweather took control of the fight beginning at the end of the 2nd and from the 3rd round on those folks were as quiet as church mice. Fixed fight? I can't tell you to stop hating but I can say...come on....be serious.
