This fight seriously needs to happen, the opinions are so varied. If the drug tests have to happen, then damn it Manny just take them.

I had to say sorry because i dont want people to think am trolling, Just like you really believe Pac wins i just believe Mayweather would win but by stoppage. Like you said i also want to see this fight happen with or without drug testing(Even though am 100% for testing).

I thought that a-side meth made you go through bullets, yet Floyd's punches will KO him? WTF?

It was amazing to see Floyd's legs gone like that, I don't think he was even that hurt in the Corley fight. I think Manny would have had Floyd in serious trouble in that moment. Whether he has a moment like to capitalise on, I'm not sure.

The thing about Floyd is....there's not a thing he can't do in the ring. Fight on the front foot, on the backfoot, in the pocket, fight inside, long range. I expected Shane to be much more competitive last night but I still thought Floyd would win. It's just not prudent to pick against him. I think Pac presents certain stylistic issues for Floyd (southpaw stance, punches from weird angles) but Floyd would negate Pac's output by virtue of timing, and make him wary. People need to get the idea that Pac walks through Floyd's punches out of their head, not even Shane could do that. If Pac tries to overwhelm Floyd like he did Cotto, Floyd has the ability to counter-punch the **** out of him.

Manny is the last man standing, who has a chance of beating Floyd. I don't discount him at all, and I would love for him to kick Floyd's ass. But sometimes, you have to be honest and admit that Floyd is an extraordinary fight, and it's unlikely he would ever lose a fight while not past his prime.
Exactly - ppl underate MMs punching power - like you said, Iron chinned Mosley was detered by them.

I don't know how you could think that. Shane wasn't just hanging back and doing nothing, he was trying to find an opening in Floyd's defense. He knew that coming in and swinging blindly would get him hurt bad, so he tried to measure his offense. It didn't work. As soon as he landed those two right hands and didn't knock him out or at least down in that second round, I knew he wouldn't win the fight. Floyd adjusts too well to your attacks. Shane tried to fight his fight. He busted his ass trying to fight his fight and Floyd just didn't let him. ATG performance, even if the fight wasn't quite a classic.

For some reason i have always had this nagging feeling that if they were to fight that Mayweather would stop Pacquiao.

Floyd will not fight Pac like he fought Mosley. The standing in front of Pac waiting to counter would be a no,no. He will definitely have to move more.

Floyd fought the best fight of his career to date last night but he wasn't perfect, lets not get carried away. I don't see an unbeatable fighter. His chin looked a little shaky but I do give him credit for changing his style enough to not let Shane hit him again like that. But he did get hit and he did get hurt.

Shane had the look of a beat fighter towards the end of the fight that yearned the fight to be stopped. Floyd could not finish him even with that. Shane has problems changing plans in the middle of a fight and he showed that again last night. We first saw that against Miguel Cotto.

So is Pac better than Floyd?.. Is Floyd better than Pac? Stylistically it is almost impossible to predict who will have the upper hand. It's gonna be who wants it more come fight night. My money is still on Manny.

i just don't know who'll win....i just don't think either could get a KO, the most..a take your balance away knockdown. lke many i could see pacman getting money on the ropes to throw his combos whether or not he could hit him...i do think pacman will box more

i'm filipino born in the us and one of those big fans of both. i always end up betting against pacquiao and get burnt, yet money has always been good to me. i rather see them fight other fighter.
i don't think pacman is on peds. take any any fighter to play full court basketball for hours in the 100+ degree humid weather for stamina add huge ass legs for power and table tennis genes for speed and agility....they too could have belts in multiple divisions.

But I was looking for three things last night:

                  1. Floyd throwing in combinations. Shane was dead on his feet from like the 4th or 5th round on and Floyd rarely threw more than one or two punches at a time.

                  2. Floyd's power. He couldn't even faze Shane for the most part. I expected that going in, but considering how tired Shane looked Floyd should have at least got him trouble once.

                  3. Floyd handling a fight. We didn't get an answer to this question. We did see that Floyd Mayweather has a motherf***ing iron chin beyond question, but Shane never tried to fight, he tried to beat Floyd fighting at his own style.

Just based on what I've seen against JMM and Mosley, Floyd would not be able to keep Pacquiao off. All that speed, movement, and punching would really mess with Floyd and I just think Pacquiao definitely beats him. Maybe stops him late.
I think this fight dissproved just that. Shane hit him with a right and Mays knees buckled.

Manny woudln't throw nearly as many punches as you would think he would. His output would be shot. You kow what makes you stop throwing punches? Missing and then immediately getting punched in the face. Floyd has the type of underated pop that makes you think twice about throwing out a punch. There is a reason Shane would load up but wouldn't throw, he was getting hit with some good ass shots.

                      super bias opinion.
Floyd Wins almost every round against SHANE MOSLEY and you deduct that?

Floyd is naturally bigger but unlike Cotto and Clottey who are too, he is super fast and accurate. Floyd is no Clottey who does not fight back and no Cotto, who is shell shocked and easy to hit.
I think Pac will run into a hell of alot of punches( because he does come in alot) that will make him slow down and think and while he is thinking Floyds pot shot game bgins as usual.
