I don't think it would be easy at all, and I don't want it to sound like that. Floyd would hit Pac, he would hit Pac a lot, but I don't think he would hurt Pac much. Pacquiao just seems like a different animal to me. The guy would just be relentless, he would make Mayweather fight, and I don't think Mayweather's head is into this as much as Pacquiao. It would be a war and I'm taking Pacquiao in a war.

Clottey marked Pac up because Pac is small and Clottey outweighed him by like 15 pounds probably, he can't take those punches from that much bigger a man without it showing. He doesn't quite have that problem against Mayweather. And no way I can be convinced Mayweather would hurt Pac, Shane was dead on his feet and was taking Floyd's best punches just fine.

But I was looking for three things last night:

      1. Floyd throwing in combinations. Shane was dead on his feet from like the 4th or 5th round on and Floyd rarely threw more than one or two punches at a time.

      2. Floyd's power. He couldn't even faze Shane for the most part. I expected that going in, but considering how tired Shane looked Floyd should have at least got him trouble once.

      3. Floyd handling a fight. We didn't get an answer to this question. We did see that Floyd Mayweather has a motherf***ing iron chin beyond question, but Shane never tried to fight, he tried to beat Floyd fighting at his own style.

Just based on what I've seen against JMM and Mosley, Floyd would not be able to keep Pacquiao off. All that speed, movement, and punching would really mess with Floyd and I just think Pacquiao definitely beats him. Maybe stops him late.

Shane is a much bigger guy than Pacman .. Pacman will not be able to take Floyds punches as good as Shane Mosley.. the fight would be close in the begining but Floyd would figure him out and DOMINATE en route to a stoppage

they say pbf will stop shane mosley (ask no ceiling). it never happens.

cotto and clottey hits harder than pbf and they had good shots against pac but what happened...nothing.

pbf may win against pac but only tru decision. i expect pbf to fight with lots of backpedalling against pac. when was the time u watch pac hesitate to exchange blows?

it comes from u that shane is hesitant to throw punch. that maybe one of the reason why pbf let his hands go. pbf's speed against shane hesitancy= UD

Floyd will take Pacroid to shool.
Pac has no headmovement his head is gonna be there to get hit. He has to go for the knockout early Mayweathers right hand is a homing missile when he throw it it connects. Pacman has to go for the knockout early and then he will just find out what als the others found out before Mayweather is just the best fighter of this generation.

uhm...Pacman loves to eat punches. His defense is suspect and against the sharp shooter like Floyd, he'll be eating plenty.

I dont see this fight been a war at all, I see easy picking with Pac trying to get in with his smaller frame and been pick off especially the right hand landing at will with good timing.

Clottey marked Pacquiao up because he land on Pac, If he didnt land he wouldnt be marked up, Now if Clottey marked him up with 1 or 2 right hands then i see nothing but trouble for Pac...Sorry.

That's your opinion. No need to say sorry for your opinion, people should be able to say something like this without being called a ******* or ***** because they disagree with each other.

This fight seriously needs to happen, the opinions are so varied. If the drug tests have to happen, then damn it Manny just take them.

Not sure how you came away thinking that. To me, the only thing that provided hope for a Pac win was the way Mosley hurt Floyd in the second. It was amazing to see Floyd's legs gone like that, I don't think he was even that hurt in the Corley fight. I think Manny would have had Floyd in serious trouble in that moment. Whether he has a moment like to capitalise on, I'm not sure.

The thing about Floyd is....there's not a thing he can't do in the ring. Fight on the front foot, on the backfoot, in the pocket, fight inside, long range. I expected Shane to be much more competitive last night but I still thought Floyd would win. It's just not prudent to pick against him. I think Pac presents certain stylistic issues for Floyd (southpaw stance, punches from weird angles) but Floyd would negate Pac's output by virtue of timing, and make him wary. People need to get the idea that Pac walks through Floyd's punches out of their head, not even Shane could do that. If Pac tries to overwhelm Floyd like he did Cotto, Floyd has the ability to counter-punch the **** out of him.

Manny is the last man standing, who has a chance of beating Floyd. I don't discount him at all, and I would love for him to kick Floyd's ass. But sometimes, you have to be honest and admit that Floyd is an extraordinary fight, and it's unlikely he would ever lose a fight while not past his prime.

I'd say that MM dominates Pacquiao similar to Mosley. I was suprised how easily he dominated Mosley - I actually think that Pacs all out attack is tailor made for mayweather from a counter punching point of view. I think MM out boxes him with his longer reach and accurate punching - this coupled with Pacs weker defense. Great fight though mek it happen!!!!
