Perhaps, unlike you, Pac gives a damn about the sport of boxing. Given that Mosley and Berto were tied up at that time, Clottey was by far the highest ranked fighter available for him to fight, back then. Anyone who criticises a fighter for wanting to fight the best available opponents in their own weight class is not a boxing fan, and you obviously aren't one.

its not like clottey was a NO NAME...i mean, clottey was the #5 ranked welterweight, and the next highest available fighter. NO NAME in a sense that he isnt a PPV attraction...but then again, there are more well known american fighters that cannot even get a PPV fight, but that doesnt mean these well known american fighters (tim bradley for example) are NO NAMES.

atleast DAVE RADO see my point as far as frauds US PPV numbers vs what he would do worldwide...its obvious fraud would generate more PPV buys in the US than pac, which should be expected...but in the asian countries alone, who do you think these asian countries would watch...pac vs clottey or fraud vs mosley?

The point is that Clottey doesn't have a significant number of fans in the US, and wasn't given a reasonable chance of winning by any of the boxing writers, and doesn't have a very exciting style; and against that sort of opponent, no one gets very high US PPV figures, not even De La Hoya. De La Hoya frequently got less than 700k. Clottey is no name in the sense that by and large, only hardcore boxing fans know who he is.

When you also take into account the fact that there were only two months in which to promote the fight, and the fact that 50,000 fans watched it at the stadium, 700k US PPV against an opponent like Clottey was a very good figure indeed. And worldwide, the fight generated massive revenues.

Pac vs Marquez will make more money then mayweather vs marquez.Now.

Why would floyd mention making more then Pacs fight against marquez back in the day when he wasnt yet a superstardom to blow up?

It's like pac fighting judah and blowing mayweather's old ppv's out of the water.

            Worldwide ppv's are a priority.Pac will own.
