It was only 50,000. They simply rounded it up to 1 million.
On the other hand, Bob "I was lying yesterday. I am telling the truth today" Arum would never lie or exaggerate, especially about PPV numbers. Pac/Clottey really did 700,000 PPVs because Pacquaio is the greatest and most popular fighter who ever live....according to Bob Arum ... and the Hategiver.
The only gullible people on this site are the ones who believe this bull**** post!
I blame the school systems. and BAD PARENTING, THE TS IS AN IMBECILE TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE.

I think this was the thread:

There is no hard evidence (documents, etc) to back it up though.

i think the TS has been watching too much of HBO series "The Wire" (and you think only the police department are "juking the stats")

If governments, hospitals, & police departments juke statistics, you better believe a money hungry corporation like time warner will.

Either through coupons, or not "real" buys, they may have though.
HBO however is required by law to have those numbers available to the public. Breaking anti-trust laws is a serious offense. Why would they allow themselves to be possibly sued over this? How did Floyd make 30 million in 09 if his fight with Marquez didnt sell that well? What exactly are "not real" buys? Why is it so unbelievable that the fight sold that well?
