that is what i dont understand.

when was the last time floyd was in a great exciting fight vs a great fighter?

yet they buy his ppvs over & over again. Floyd & *****s are like a pair of jordans & the ignorant kid who keeps on wasting his mommas hard earned cash buying every new pair that comes out.

They are getting fleeced by a con artist, deep down inside they know they are getting fleeced, but they are content about it.

it's possible its the same people buying his ppvs over and over cause they feel a common bond with him and they feel the need to support him to keep him on top of the boxing game. i think they just want him to keep winning that's why they don't care about his abysmal opponent choices. they would rather he win against an easy opponent than risk losing and lose his status at the top of boxing.

its one of the possibilities, but imo they are suckers for floyd's fake antics.

If governments, hospitals, & police departments juke statistics, you better believe a money hungry corporation like time warner will.

His antics are what sells tickets but you cannot deny his skills in the ring which is what i pay to see. Other people pay to see him win, some pay to see him lose. At the end of the day in boxing you have to promote yourself and sell the fights. For him he does this by playing the role of a villain and he does it well by the amount hatred he receives and tickets and PPV people buy to see him lose.

Of course. Anything said relating to Mayweather that is positive is either a lie, an exaggeration or misleading. He didn't really get 2.2 million buys in the Oscar fight. It was only 1.1 million. They exaggerated by 1 million and Pac/Oscar outsold him. He didn't get 1 million PPV buys in the Marquez fight. It was only 50,000. They simply rounded it up to 1 million.

On the other hand, Bob "I was lying yesterday. I am telling the truth today" Arum would never lie or exaggerate, especially about PPV numbers. Pac/Clottey really did 700,000 PPVs because Pacquaio is the greatest and most popular fighter who ever live....according to Bob Arum ... and the Hategiver.

The only gullible people on this site are the ones who believe this bull**** post!

Thank you for the definition. I was trying to figure out how to define this thread. Now I know -- "truthiness". There are about 50 "truthiness" posts on this site every day.

With this type of hate being so rampant on this site, I can see the headline and the lead paragraph of Ronnie Nathanielz story after the PPV numbers are released.

Headline: Mayweather-Mosley Does Two Million on PPV

Ronnie Nathanielz: HBO reported today that the unworthy Floyd Mayweather/Shane Mosley fight sold two million pay-per-view buys due to the fight's enormous hype, but Manny Pacquaio is still the fighter of the decade and the greatest attraction in boxing history.

he is a walking contradiction machine. did you see his pathetic display on his fake date with chili?

the man is a pathological liar. the man who runs gbp is a sleaze ball ex swiss banker who used to be in charge of hiding rich people's money from the government.

this is boxing. the most corrupt sport out of all the sports. Forgive me for not taking everything at face value.
