Without ever stepping in the ring against each other Calzaghe and Froch have battle for years... through the press, a verbal war... Now that Froch looses to Kessler; a man that Calzaghe beat, Calzaghe is probably laughing his ass off because now whenever Froch mentions his name he can always bring this up to shut his mouth... I know Calzaghe is happy a **** right now

I don't think performances against common opponents says much about who is better than who when we are talking about world class fighters.

I thought the same thing. Even though styles make fights, and we'll never know exactly how Froch vs. Calzaghe would play out--I have to admit Calzaghe will use this fight to make the argument that he's a superior fighter. Froch could rebuild his rep by beating AA, advancing in tourney, etc. But I don't see AA losing again, unless it's to Ward!

Its hard to tell Joe has been inactive for such a long time,
Carl has been heavily active and is a great fighter.

Froch fights for Pride and avoids No-One Calz spent his whole Career fighting Bums, Blown up light Middles and Old Men.
