Definitely not. Arum will make a rematch between Cotto and Pacquaio. And of course, Cotto will have to come down in weight to 150, while still putting his 154 pound belt on the line.

I don't know who he would fight exactly but I am pretty sure it would not be an Arum guy unless it is Manny, Floyd and Arum can't be cool with each other until that fight takes place or the landscape is vastly different IMO.

If Cotto presses enough and is willing to give up enough things to make it happean possibly but aslong as Arum is getting anything it is tough to see Floyd doing that, if Arum got zero I think Floyd would do it just to screw with Arum.

I am ok witht he fight but jsut as things sit it is hard to see it happeaning but stranger things have happeaned.

Before he didn't even want to mention Cotto's name.. now that he has been KO'd by Margarito and his plaster and then finished off by Pacquiao he wants to fight him? SMH..
        When did Floyd say that?

That'd be a ***** move on Floyd's part. How is Foreman a measuring stick of how Cotto would do against Floyd? And don't bring up the fact that he moves around the ring. Michael Jennings moved around the ring too.

Not quite. Saul Alvarez is an option also if he beats Cotto (especially if he knocks him out and looks good doing it) on the Mayweather/Mosley undercard. A fight between Mayweather and Alvarez could be held in Texas stadium and generate an attendance of 100,000 and a PPV number of 1 million with the popularity of Alvarez in Mexico and among Hispanics.

That fight will never happen imo. Possible pponents for floyd after he beats shane are pacquiao, cotto and berto. Theres no way he will fight alvarez

What made you *****s think he will have the courage to fight the man who beat Shane
coz the man barely beat shane--and was stopped by the man who shane knocked out--and was stopped by the smaller man that would have ducked floyd twice, manny stacky-cow----

and don't forget--cotto ducked floyd at 140---and still hasn't called him out---when it counts---still won't if he beats foreman--i hope he does call floyd out though---

Cotto vs Mayweather would be a good fight. I hope it happens, then we can get Floyd vs Pac.

You haven't been paying attention to the last eight years. You can count the number of over-the-hill or shot fighters that Mayweather has fought on one hand. You would need a calculator to count Pac's. In fact, look at Pac's last five fights and that tells you all you need to know. Pac has fought Clottey, Cotto, Hatton, De La Hoya and Marquez. Four of those five fighters were on their way downhill and he is talking about fighting Margarito (a cheating has-been) in his next fight. Pac turned down the drug tests because he knows he cannot beat Mayweather without his "special juice".
