The referee at Froch-Dirrell was from a neutral country. Dirrell was lucky he wasn't disqualified for his childish behavior. Froch won 114-113 on my card.

The crooked referee at Kessler-Ward was from Oakland, and appears on a lot of Goossen cards. He always shows favoritism toward Goossen's boxers, I suspect he is being paid to do it.

Under fair circumstances, Kessler would have defeated Ward. The deck was stacked against him.

There were a lot of headgames going on that night, such as the fight being delayed because Ward's team pretending they had a problem with Kessler's wraps. The referee kept going over and admonishing him between rounds, although it was Ward who was doing the fouling!

That was the most obviously crooked ref I have ever seen.

And Ward is working with the founder of BALCO, Victor Conte!

Ward should have lost by DQ to Kessler - that last headbutt was OBVIOUSLY deliberate and nasty.

Dirrel did his trick of pretending to fall to the floor to get out of exchanges about 5 times in that fight too, thankfully Froch did not hit him like AA when he was down. Or he would have missed out on a well deserved win

Ward is the number one SMW because he beat Kessler, but Froch deserves no credit for beating Kessler

Ward got much praise because he was an untested pro boxer that dominated a veteran who was supposedly Calzaghe's best win. No one prior to Ward had exposed Kessler. Not even Calzaghe. We all were fooled that Kessler was a great fighter. Ward's dominating performance showed us that Kessler isnt that great.
