pac def won the fight b/c clottey didnt do anything but when clottey let his hands go, he was more effective than pac and hit pac at will

all pac showed in that what was that he couldnt adjust and didnt know how to break clotteys defence. plus he was getting frustrated
Really? your saying 1200 punches were ineffective? You don't think the volume was used directly to force Clottey into a shell? Shutting down your opponents offense with your own is effective punching.

P.will used similar tactic vs Winky, was he horribly ineffective as well? Because they both shut out their opponents.

i was at the fight and i have to agree pac just threw and threw but it also was why he won he was giving his all everybody i was in the audience with could see that but he couldn't hit clottey.

but because he kept throwing clottey couldn't get his punches off but when clottey threw he had the crowd oooing and awwing, pac never really did that until he got clottey on the ropes once it was pretty easy to tell pac was going to win because he was giving his all while clottey was just trying to land the better punches.

imo,if clottey threw 40% more he would have atleast got a split decision lost he was hitting pac with some real hard shots.

pac had to throw 1200 punches b/c he cant adjust and didnt know how to break down clotteys defense...not even alittle.

and again, when clottey let his hands go, he was more effective and hit pac at will.

1200+punches at a 20% connect rate is terrible

my point exactly. which is why i felt most of pacs aggression was ineffective. b/c the moment clottey let his hands go, pac was there to be hit, clotteys shots were clear, effective and looked better.

My, my, aren't we being overly critical.

Lets keep in mind the comparison madsweepny made between Winky/P.Williams and Clottey/Pacquiao. Both Winky and Clottey use shell-defense to keep themselves protected and neither got thorougly dominated in any fights prior, until they WIlliams and Clottey, two guys who found the blueprint to dominate them, and that's keep a busy workrate for 12 rounds.
